Hello, um why wasn't Coppermine Island mined? What due to?

As far as I know it is just because the first attempts to mine were unprofitable...ie. it was too hard to get to, too hard to get the copper out, and too hard to then transport the mined copper back to somewhere useful.

...but then I am no expert on the history of the Hen and Chicken Islands :)
