Waitangi Day, celebrated on 6th February every year is a national holiday in New Zealand. Wiatangi Day celebrations focus on the unity of Maori and Pakeha in New Zealand. Apart from the official Waitangi Day celebrations, there are many Waitangi Day events, concerts and festivals throughout New Zealand, celebrating nationhood.
