Hey tj3874, can you be a bit more specific? Are you talking about the industrial revolution here? Or just machines in general?

It isn't hard to describe lots of ways that machines have improved life for people...eg. the printing press helped make books and newspapers accessible to everyone which helped spread information and knowledge. Manufacturing machinery has helped reduce the cost of goods so more people can afford them. Machinery in the form of trains and transport generally have obviously helped too.
