Do you mean what are the commons elements of shared culture? There's one definition of culture which kind of answers that...

Culture is the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution, organization or group.

Typically we talk about culture along national/regional lines, eg. the culture of Native Americans as a relatively homogenous group on the North American continent, or more brodly we can also talk about Asian or European Culture which is a broders definition encompassing the shared values, goals and practices of people from Asia or Europe respectively. I guess it is fair to say that the broader we starting defining cultures the more generic the definition.
