One of my favorite sources of information about countries is the CIA. They maintain an awesome resource called the CIA World Fact Book, which has the following to say about Greece...
Southern Europe, bordering the Aegean Sea, Ionian Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea, between Albania and Turkey.

...it goes on to provide all the info you could possibly want about climate, terrain, natural resources, politics, environmental issues etc etc, very comprehensive.
