Leonardo Da Vinci was a cool Italian artist and inventor way back in the 14-1500's. He was most famous for painting the Mona Lisa, but was also an incredible scientist and inventor. I went to a cool exhibition of replicas of the things he had invented way back then and the stuff is amazing. Of course he wasn't able to build it at the time but way back then he sketched plans for a helicopter like machine...the guy was wicked smart.
