A narrative approach to writing is basically story telling. The word narrative derives from the latin verb
narrare meaning 'to recount' (thanks Wikipedia!). So a narrative text describes a series of events (real or made up) in the form of a story.
Hope that helps, and don't forget you can post answers to any other questions on the site. The site will work best if we all contribute and help each other :)
